One of the reasons I started this website was to help investigate the latest sightings of UFO's and Alien activity and provide a clear and objective report on the sighting and if need be to pass on the report to other investigators for further research. I also wanted to provide a clearinghouse of information to my research and investigations and if possible, links to other researchers into the field of UFOlogy.

Myself, my son and daughter were quading alongside a duck sanctuary on the outskirts of Edmonton, Alberta when my son noticed the water moving for no reason in a circular motion as though a helicopter were hovering just above, but there was nothing visible in the sky anywhere near us. The water movement was about 60feet in diameter. I had my camera handy as usual when we go trail riding and took a few pictures of the area in case the camera might see something i couldnt. I had the film developed(35mm) recently and noticed a silver object about 20feet in diameter  directly above where the water was rotating  ,the photo clearly shows the craft directly above the moving water.  All i can assume is this craft was examining something in the duck pond. I am not surprised to see thier presence so close to a major city as i have experienced their presence before not far from here...Edmonton.

I have an old UFO report. I don't know if you're collecting old eye-witness reports.. My sighting was a "close encounter" (about 500 ft. away), in which I spotted the disc-shaped craft directly overhead in the forested hills of Santa Cruz in about 1979,80,81. (If I had to research the exact date I could.) The craft was about 100 to 150 ft. across. It made a low-frequency humming-buzzing noise as it moved directly overhead of me, just above the pine trees of the forest. Brilliant white light and energy, with white particulate energy covering the entire underside of the circular-elliptical craft, which seemed to propell it across the sky. It moved slowly from a Northwest to East-Southeast direction.

I never talked about it until now because the few people I talked to about it just looked at me strangely, and asked stupid questions, like, "Was it a bright light from the under a helicopter?" (As if I didn't know the differene.)
I am former USAF AWACS, I've seen many kinds of aircraft, I helped to build the B-2 Stealth Bomber.

My father was a senior aerospace engineer and aerospace manager, who helped build the Apollo, and put the astronauts on the moon, and helped design and build the B-1 Bomber and the Space Shuttles. (He was also the Shuttle's CAD/CAM Training Manager. and designed the electrical systems.) I just thought you guys might like to know this. Today, I'm a licensed psychotherapist and a certified clinical hypnotist, who's been in private practice for over 10 years now.

My fiance and I had just settled down in our driveway in front of our firepit.  We observed what appeared to be a similar to a bright blue start in the sky but it was moving oddly.  The blue star appeared to be wobbling in the northwest sky.  We originally had considered this to possibly be some kind of optical illusion caused by the high tension power lines in the same line of sight until the at about the 15 minute mark of watching this wobble in mutiple directions it darted much further downward then back upward from our perspective.  Finally at about 20 minutes of viewing this bright blue ball of light we were moderately sure we had seen something unusual when the orb darted off in a fashion like no other terresterial aircraft I have ever viewed.  The orb quickly disappeared into the horizon of the northwest sky faster than any aircraft I have ever seen.

How far you were you from the object at the time of the sighting? = As we were standing in our front yard the object was directly north of us in the night sky

 It was around 10:45 at night on 9-19-09, when  my family had returned home from a festival in a nearby town. As we unloaded our car, I looked up in the sky and noticed what I thought at first was a bright star. I jokingly said, "Look honey, Twinkle Twinkle little star". However, this "star" had a straight line of white lights and what appeared to be a huge white light and the end. As I starred at it longer, the lights seemed to chang colors and the "star" no longer seemed to be a "star", but more like a hovering object. We continued to watch this object for well over an hour as it would hover to the left and then to the right, but never too far in didstance. Surely this was not a plane. We later, did infact see a plane, and also a smaller object off in the distance that appeared to be another hovering object. The plane flew directly under the smaller of the two objects that were hovering. As the plane drew nearer, the smaller object drew brighter and closer to the plane. The larger object drew brighter as well as if where beckoning the smaller object to come closer.

 My son left me a frantic message on 9/13/9 describing a bright red orb in the southwestern sky. He watched it moving slightly in place for 5 minutes then dash off @ incredible speed. He was alone, waiting for a bus. I wish I could post the audio of his message. Gave me chills. He did call 311 and 911 to report it. He is a very level headed guy who is open minded, not prone to hysterics.

09 - Please describe the events of the sighting below, Please be as detailed as possible = I was just taking some shots of the mountain peaks and low and behold upon viewing them on the PC I saw an oval shaped mettalic looking object.

I took several frames in quick succession and the object does not appear on any other frames so it must have been travelling quickly

Follow Up:

I will be back home this evening and will send on the original photo and maybe one from either side of it so you can see time stamps... this should rule out dust and things like that as it only appears on one frame.
 
Nobody else was taking photographs, I reckon it was something high speed... some say it is a bird or insect but it cannot be identified... it just looks like a metallic oval.
 
The place where it was taken is a beautiful area called Coumshingaung (pronounced koom-shin-gawn) and has a large corrie or glacial lake in the mountains there... maybe I could send a pic of that too... the only thing weird that happened that day was someone had to be rescued from the mountain by a chopper... i have photos of that too.

I had a call from family ten miles away, thet saw  two then six then twenty orange spheres flying in different directions and disappearing then reappearing over house. We went outside and a few mins later saw two bright orange balls flying in silence, at times different speeds to each other, they were visible for aprox ten mins then vanished.later helicopter circled,Pics available, in the pics (taken with fairly standard camera) the orange /orange and white balls look white, when pics enlarged two lights can be seen

Follow Up:

The objects were totally silent-totally and I didn't notice any animals reacting, I am used to planes as I am on a flight path, incidentally the travelled across left to right whereas the flight path is front to back.
One object travelled across slowly, the second appeared and seemed to speed up, catching the first up, they disappeared and then returned, again left to right, as if they made a circle but maybe due to distance went out of sight?, it did seem that they travelled slowly but comparing them to planes that go over they were much faster, the silence gave the illusion of a slow graceful movement.
There have been many many reports of these not just on the 4th but leading up to this date across England ( having looked it up after the event).
These glowing spheres appeared solid, they travelled straight in a smooth curve, smoothly unaffected by wind and I have read the chinese lantern theories but these were nothing like the pics of lanterns, too solid and totally steady, coming back around also goes against this.
My parents live 10 miles away, they saw two then six, they formed uniform patterns, they were joined by twenty , they disappeared and two came back around again, as my parents called me they had seen the first two and were telling me about the display as it unfolded, I was looking up and they said they were gone , literally the next glance up we saw the two make the first lap/round.
The pics were taken by my daughter, she caught the end of the second sighting, its a standard digital so she tried to focus but they are not good.
The balls were orange/orange with a whiteish glow, the pics just show them as white.
My parents noted a helicopter over the village aprox 20 mins after the event, others in the village reported it, the internet is full of sightings.
My daughters friend called the next morning, I asked did you see anything in the sky last night, he said no it was last week, I asked him to describe what he saw and he said they saw UFO's, orange balls, two appearing and disappearing.Needless to say I hope to catch a video if it happens again. The pics make them look so small and distant, as the came over they appeared quite large, distance is so difficult to judge, they appeared much closer that the planes when they were central/in front of us, at that point I certainly felt quite scared!
